About this open problem:
Admins: Should I delete this problem from Open Problem Garden because its solution was too easy (found in less than one day). Or just to leave it marked as solved?
We have moved this problem to the "2nd tier" area since it was a simple exercise.
About the usage of our site: Asking basic questions can be very productive in education (indeed I highly encourage it!). However, our website is designed to be a tool for experts to communicate open problems and make progress toward them. We would therefore prefer our site to be reserved for "serious" unsolved problems. Perhaps it would make sense to have a site similar to ours with this alternative goal, but we don't know of one. If you do know such a site, I would be interested to know about it.
