 <description>&lt;p&gt;The problem you mention, 10769 of the AMM, concerns the chromatic number of the orthogonality graph.  The problem here concerns the &lt;em&gt;circular&lt;/em&gt; chromatic number of the orthogonality graph, and I believe it is still open.&lt;/p&gt;
